THEREDS: Liverpool leave Steven Gerrard out of Europa League squad but Fernando Torres does travel to Holland

Liverpool will be without talismanic captain Steven Gerrard when they take on Dutch side Utrecht in the Europa League on Thursday but will call on the services of Fernando Torres.
England skipper Gerrard has been left behind to rest, and along with Daniel Agger are the only two fit senior players left at home as manager Roy Hodgson names a strong squad for their second Group K fixture.

Torres, meanwhile, who has looked desperately out of sorts this season will travel for what is his first outing in Europe this season.
Agger's absence, coupled with Paul Konchesky's hamstring injury and Fabio Aurelio's on-going Achilles tendon problem, means Martin Kelly is likely to be forced into action as an emergency left-back.
Holland forward Dirk Kuyt, who made a comeback from a shoulder injury at the weekend, is set to face his former club.
